Mountain Primrose Bed and Breakfast is located in the beautiful small town of Thomas, West Virginia, surrounded by the Monongahela National Forest. The Inn was originally built in 1910 as a boarding house for coal miners. Over the years it has evolved into a large comfortable home providing guest with 4 rooms to choose from. All rooms have private bath, TV's, free wifi, tea service and come with a hearty breakfast. We welcome families, children of all ages and business travelers. Enjoy hiking, fishing, exploring, kayaking, visiting the Blackwater Falls, or just relaxing on the porch. Tour the historic town of Thomas and visit the antique stores and art galleries. Our winters are perfect for the snow enthusiasts!!
The Primrose is know as the first flower of spring. There is a German legend about a little girl who found a doorway covered in flowers, and when she touched it with a primrose, the door opened up, leading into an enchanted fairy castle.
We look forward to your visit and helping make your vacation one to remember.
**Mountain Primrose B&B sits on a hill and all rooms are located on the second floor. This means there are a lot of stairs. Please contact me to discuss any alternatives if needed.
